conversations-text
《conversations》 fieldwork with natural science researchers from a photography perspective. The series is in development from the <sight> series, the subject is changed from “passive viewer” to “observer”, and the focus of the gaze has shifted from “subjective emotion” to “objective thinking”. It features researchers engrossed in their experiment, staring at monitors and looking into microscopes. They are in their own world of scientific pursuit, and the rigor of time and thoughts invested in their research can be witnessed in their postures. The captured moments are intensely private moments that are rarely seen in public. Here we have moments of intense otherness that are impossible to penetrate and symphise.
